MUSEUMS
LUCCA
In this
section you can find information about the Museums in the
Province of Lucca.
The aim is to show the variety and wealth of heritage kept in
our museums, particularly those in out of the way and less known
places, often unique in their kind. The selection shown here
stresses the integration between the territory and its museums
providing connections to other sections and so reconstructing an
ideal unity of context. So, the “museum” files offer links
to the “exhibitions” and “events” sections – when the
exhibitions are held in a museum – or to the “archaeological
sites” section, when the collection of exhibits in a specific
museum helps us to reconstruct the original stratification of a
site on account their origin.
